A vehicle fire on the M-50, near Móstoles, caused significant traffic delays this morning and required the intervention of Alcorcón Firefighters, resulting in two people sustaining minor injuries.

The incident, which occurred on the M-50, led to extreme traffic slowdowns, with queues of vehicles stretching for several kilometers. Authorities reported that the event took place early in the morning, severely impacting traffic flow towards Madrid.
Alcorcón Firefighters played a crucial role in extinguishing the fire that engulfed the vehicle after it collided with a crane. This incident happened on the stretch between kilometer 62 of the A-5 and the entrance to Madrid, where vehicle congestion was particularly noticeable.
Traffic delays lasted for a considerable period, and local residents reported two other nearby accidents on the same M-50, also between Móstoles and Alcorcón. These additional incidents further exacerbated mobility issues for drivers.
Despite the chaotic situation on the road, the positive outcome was that the two injured individuals sustained only minor injuries and were able to receive prompt assistance.
