Criminal activity and tension in the bars of La Cubierta bullring square in Leganés have significantly decreased due to recent police raids, as confirmed by the City Council.

The municipal head of Leganés emphasized this Tuesday that the current situation is vastly different from that observed at the beginning of the operations. Initial interventions identified a large number of individuals non-compliant with regulations, whereas recent actions have shown a drastic reduction in these figures.

"The situation has nothing to do with the actions carried out at the beginning of the process. Out of 200 or 300 people intervened, about 60 did not comply with regulations. In the last intervention, we are talking about one person; that's how much the tension has dropped."

This improvement is directly attributed to the effectiveness of the raids conducted in recent months, which have contributed to establishing a safer and more orderly environment in the entertainment area of La Cubierta.
