Interested bands and solo artists have until September 11 to submit their applications. Participation involves publishing a video on social media performing two original songs, tagging @dejoveneslega and including the hashtag #LeganesARitmoJoven26.
This year, the contest benefits from the collaboration of Westfield Parquesur and the inclusion of Los 40, aiming to increase the visibility of participants and the competition itself.
The five selected finalists will perform live at the El Lago de Westfield Parquesur stage before a specialized jury. The main winner will perform at the San Nicasio Patron Saint Festivals with a paid performance. The second prize includes a solo concert at Westfield Parquesur, and the third, a 400 euro gift card.
The contest is open to groups and soloists of any musical style who study, work, or reside in Leganés or any municipality in the Community of Madrid. Participants must be between 14 and 35 years old. Bands must have at least one member within this age range. A repertoire of at least 30 minutes of original songs, not previously submitted, is required.
Registration is completed by sending an email to dejovenes@leganes.org with the completed registration form and the subject line ‘#LeganesARitmoJoven26’ after publishing the video on platforms such as TikTok, X, Instagram, or YouTube.
Additionally, the Youth Delegation may award a Special Dejóvenes Mention to those who stand out for transmitting the values promoted by the Dejóvenes program and their commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), potentially granting them direct access to the final.
