The Fuenlabrada City Council has approved the temporary hiring of 15 professionals to enhance the execution of strategic projects funded by European funds, including the renaturalization of the Agrarian Park and the Integrated Action Plan.

The Local Government Board of Fuenlabrada has greenlit a temporary employment program that will allow the incorporation of 15 professionals. These new team members will focus on driving two strategic initiatives for the city, both financed by funds from the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).
The hires will cover specialized technical and administrative profiles, such as architects, engineers, legal technicians, sociologists, and administrative staff. Their work will concentrate on the planning, management, and monitoring of the actions planned for the Agrarian Park Renaturalization and the Integrated Action Plan (PAI) projects.
The Agrarian Park Renaturalization project, selected by the Biodiversity Foundation and the Ministry for Ecological Transition, has an investment of 3.3 million euros and aims to restore this green space, improving its environmental conditions and its connection with the city.
Meanwhile, the Integrated Action Plan (PAI) includes key interventions in the Central District, such as the redevelopment of the La Estación neighborhood and the remodeling of Luis Sauquillo street, with the goal of optimizing mobility, accessibility, and the quality of public spaces.
This measure seeks not only to strengthen the municipal technical capacity for managing complex projects and meeting European funding requirements but also to offer new job opportunities to qualified profiles and accelerate the urban and environmental transformation of Fuenlabrada.
