Fuenlabrada City Council has begun this week the Plan Sanea works, carried out in collaboration with Canal de Isabel II, to modernize the sewage network in several streets of the municipality.

The operations are focused on Comunidad de Madrid, Arados, and Higueral streets. The project, which has an estimated duration of one and a half months, aims to optimize the sanitation system to prevent incidents during heavy rainfall.
Due to the work, traffic has been restricted in the direction of Luis Sauquillo, although vehicle passage remains open towards Extremadura street. These limitations have forced a reorganization of the route for line 4 of the Fuenlabrada Municipal Transport Company.
Starting this Thursday, the bus service will stop serving the Fuentesauco street stop. Instead, vehicles will be diverted through alternative routes such as the M-506 and El Arroyo and Panaderas streets, resuming their usual route after passing through Luis Sauquillo.

"The actions will alleviate the problems caused by heavy rains and will allow Fuenlabrada to have a better and more modern sewer network."
