The incident occurred when the involved tourist car lost control, leaving the road and plunging down an embankment. Following the violent impact at the bottom of the embankment, the car began to burn uncontrollably.
The flames rapidly spread, also affecting the dry vegetation on the roadside verge. Several units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish the car fire and the blaze in the vegetation, preventing it from spreading to adjacent areas.

Emergency services, including SUMMA 112 and PIMER Pinto, collaborated in the rescue and care of the four occupants of the vehicle. One of the injured sustained serious injuries due to the magnitude of the crash.
The Traffic Division of the Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the road departure and clarify the dynamics of the accident. The accident site was secured to facilitate firefighting, rescue, and subsequent road cleaning operations.
