Fire extinguished in Parla affecting 13 heavy vehicles

Madrid Community Firefighters managed to control the flames in an enclosure near the M-408 road without any injuries reported.

A fire declared in an open-air enclosure in Parla, next to the M-408 road, has been extinguished by the Madrid Community Firefighters after affecting 13 heavy vehicles and various materials.

The fire originated inside the enclosure and spread to nearby vegetation, generating a dense column of smoke visible from the area. A total of 13 units from the regional Fire Department were deployed to extinguish the flames, according to Emergencies 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
After several hours of intervention, the crews managed to control and extinguish the fire. Firefighters continued with overhaul operations to prevent any possible rekindling.
The Summa 112 maintained a preventive health unit, although no injuries were reported. The Local Police of Parla and the National Police also participated in the operation. The latter has taken charge of the investigation to determine the causes of the incident.
