The Más Madrid municipal group has strongly criticized the budgets presented by the Popular Party and Vox in the Aranjuez Plenary session, calling them "imposed" and "without a future."

The Popular Party, along with Vox, presented budgets yesterday in the Plenary session that, according to Más Madrid, do not address the city's shortcomings and lack viability. The party criticizes that the accounts were imposed, without consensus from other groups, leveraging their absolute majority.
The spokesperson for Más Madrid, Alfonso Sánchez, reproached the Councilor for Finance, D. José de Ruz, for his lack of temperament and project, pointing out that the budgets do not cover essential needs such as a new General Urban Planning Plan. Nor is there any budget allocated for economic and industrial development.

"It is envious to see how neighboring towns like Ontígola do their homework and we don't invest a single cent. We should be ashamed. It is unacceptable that the people of Ribereña have to work elsewhere, earning salaries from Castilla la Mancha, and paying expensive taxes in the municipality of Aranjuez."

Sánchez also lamented that, despite collecting the waste tax, the IBI (Property Tax) has not been reduced. He emphasized that taxes from companies, such as the ICIO (Construction Tax) or the IAE (Economic Activities Tax), are what fill the municipal coffers, and criticized the lack of focus on industrial development that could alleviate debt, placing the payment burden on citizens.
The spokesperson also criticized the failure to comply with previously approved proposals in the Plenary. He directly asked Councilor de Ruz if the Local Police point in the La Montaña neighborhood will be implemented, or the Environmental Police patrol, or if the promised birth checks have been forgotten. He also questioned the installation of sports courts in the Agfa neighborhood, graffiti cleaning, the rehabilitation of the Casas de los Maestros (Teachers' Houses), and the economic conditions promised to the Real Cortijo de San Isidro, calling the management "unserious."
In conclusion, Más Madrid believes that the approved budgets perpetuate the shortcomings that the city has been enduring year after year.
