Alcorcón prepares for a weekend full of free activities, highlighting the traditional San Juan Night and Tardeo Fest, alongside a martial arts event.

Residents of Alcorcón have multiple leisure options to enjoy this weekend, marked by high temperatures that could reach 40 degrees Celsius. The agenda includes musical events and the anticipated San Juan Night.
San Juan Night will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Paco de Lucía Auditorium, located in the Fairgrounds. Organized by the Alcorcón City Council and the Association Council, the program will begin at 21:00 with a mobile disco and bar service. At 22:00, the Deposit of Dreams and Wishes will occur, followed by the fire conjuring at 23:00 and the lighting of the bonfire at midnight. The event will conclude at 03:00.
As part of the outdoor summer offerings, Darwin Park will host the Tardeo Fest this Saturday, June 20. This free activity, organized by the Department of Citizen Participation, Feminism, and Seniors, will start at 19:30 next to the Mestizaje Civic Center on Pablo Picasso street. It will include tables and chairs for attendees, with a recommendation to bring one's own food and drink. The main event will be a musical bingo at 20:30, where songs replace traditional numbers.
Furthermore, on June 19, Alcorcón will host a notable martial arts event organized by the Madrid-based promoter The Gulag Fight at the JOWKE Club facilities. The event, featuring a ring installed over a swimming pool and capacity for over 1,500 people, will present bouts in kickboxing K-1, Muay Thai, and boxing.
Among the scheduled fights is the return of former world champion Alejandro Lakatus against Chechu “Black Panther”. The Professional K-1 Spanish Championship Belt and the Amateur Women's Regional Kickboxing Belt will also be contested. The evening will include a 2 vs 2 combat format, a rare modality in Spain.
