The 'Calles Vivas' festival arrives in Alcorcón with a cultural offering aimed at bringing arts closer to residents, highlighting a diverse program of free concerts.

The Alcorcón arts festival, named Calles Vivas, was officially presented with the goal of democratizing access to culture and bringing it closely to all citizens. The initiative places a special emphasis on family activities and, specifically, on a series of concerts designed for the enjoyment of Alcorcón's residents.
The musical program kicks off on Friday, June 19. At 9:00 PM, the Plaza Jota Mayúscula will host the performance by “El Nido”, presenting traditional rhythms to champion popular music in a space for meeting and shared identity. On the same day and at the same venue, the band “Sínkope” will offer a powerful rock performance.
The lineup is completed with two more performances. At the Pinar del Rocío, “Variedades Azafrán” will blend musical quality, traditional humor, and popular cabaret at 1:30 PM, aiming to strengthen community through music. Finally, at 3:30 PM, in the same location, “Bewis de la Rosa” will close the event with a proposal that combines hip-hop, folklore, poetry, and electronic music, creating a deeply rural and contemporary sensibility.
