The selection process will be conducted through an open competitive examination system. Local authorities have indicated that the number of vacancies could increase if new positions become available before the start of the examination phase.
To apply, candidates must meet basic requirements such as being of legal age, holding Spanish nationality, and possessing a Bachiller degree or equivalent. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the physical and mental fitness required to perform police duties.
The selection phase includes a knowledge exam, psychotechnical tests, an A2 level English test, a medical examination, and physical tests, including running, speed, jumping, and swimming. Successful candidates must then complete a course at the Integral Security and Emergency Training Institute of the Comunidad de Madrid, followed by a six-month internship.
The application period will remain open for 20 business days from the publication in the Official State Gazette, ending on July 30. Applications can be submitted in person at the city hall or through the municipal electronic office.
