The initiative, which will run during the first school term, aims to provide tools for facing the challenges of adolescence and to detect early signs of psychological distress. The program offers various participation options, including individual psychological attention, group workshops, and free psychoeducational talks.
The individual psychological attention modality includes up to 100 places, with a maximum of ten weekly 50-minute sessions per participant. These sessions will be conducted by specialized private professionals from Aranjuez, selected by the Official College of Psychology. The cost for families will be reduced to 15 euros per session, compared to the usual 60 euros, thanks to municipal funding and the professionals' contributions.
The group art therapy and mindfulness workshops offer 40 places for small groups of up to ten people. Through disciplines such as painting, modeling, or writing, emotional expression and self-esteem will be addressed, complemented by mindfulness techniques. These workshops, aimed at adolescents aged 12 to 18, will take place between October and December 2026 at the Isabel de Farnesio Cultural Center. The cost per participant will be 117.75 euros, representing 50% of the actual price.
The program is complemented by a cycle of free psychoeducational talks for families, organized by FASE Fundación. The sessions will be held on school Saturdays from October to December and will cover topics relevant to the development and well-being of children. Participation will be free and open, culminating in a final event on Saturday, December 19.
The program is preventive and supportive, and does not replace specialized psychological or psychiatric therapy for serious or urgent problems. In such cases, initial guidance and referral to appropriate resources will be provided.
