The Arroyomolinos City Council has published the tender for street cleaning and waste collection services in its northern districts, involving an annual investment of 3.75 million euros over eight years.

The Public Sector Contracting Platform has announced this contract tender, which aims to optimize cleaning management in the northern areas of the municipality. This significant investment will allow for the renewal of infrastructure and equipment, as well as an increase in personnel dedicated to these essential tasks.
Among the planned improvements is the replacement of current waste containers with more resistant and durable models, designed to minimize breakdowns and facilitate maintenance. These new bins, similar to those already installed in other areas, will be made from materials suitable for each type of waste, ensuring greater efficiency in separation and collection.
The council has specified that cleaning operations will be organized based on efficiency criteria. Streets and avenues with high or medium activity levels will be swept daily by hand, including the emptying of litter bins. Additionally, machinery will be used up to three times a week in these areas.
Furthermore, a specific service will be implemented for the treatment and removal of graffiti and stains on urban furniture and facades. A special leaf collection campaign will also be established during the autumn and winter months, prioritizing areas of the municipality where leaf litter accumulation is most significant.
