The Venturada City Council has launched an initiative for the removal of junipers, trees that pose a high fire risk due to their ease of ignition and ability to spread flames.

Junipers are particularly dangerous in case of fire, as they ignite easily, flames are intense, and they facilitate rapid fire spread. For this reason, the council recommends their removal.
To assist residents with this task, the City Council is providing a 30 m³ container per household, available for three days, for juniper or ailanthus waste. Pruning and disposal of the remains will be the responsibility of the homeowner.
Registration to request this service is open until October 31st. To apply for a container, interested parties should send their request to: coworking@venturada.org.
It is important to note that the number of available containers is limited. If demand exceeds capacity, priority will be given to homes or plots located in gully areas or bordering forest areas.
The campaign emphasizes that fire prevention is a shared responsibility: "Preventing fires is also in our hands."
