The Sierra Norte Regional Center for Humanities in La Cabrera opens its doors in June to host the free theatrical workshop “Collons”, an initiative by the company L’Autèntica.

This workshop, taking place every Thursday in June at 6:00 PM, is part of a larger project culminating in paid rehearsals and performances in November 2026, within the framework of the Community of Madrid's Autumn Festival. The call is specifically aimed at men between 18 and 30 years old, with no prior acting experience required.
Collons” is defined as a performative laboratory and a scenic creation process focused on reflecting on contemporary masculinities. Through theatrical, physical, musical, and performative tools, themes such as social pressure, vulnerability, desire, friendship, and identity will be addressed. The scenic material will arise from the participants' real experiences, who, if they wish, can be part of the final play with paid rehearsals and performances.
The company L’Autèntica, known for its documentary theater and immersive productions, aims with this project to explore the question: What does it mean to be a man today? Selected participants, up to a maximum of 20, will benefit from physical and creative training, and the opportunity to participate in a professional production.
Workshop sessions will be held at the Sierra Norte Regional Center for Humanities in La Cabrera. Paid rehearsals and performances will take place from November 9 to 22 at the same center, and later at the Teatros del Canal in Madrid on November 28 and 29. Registration is through an online form, and places are limited.
