The Valle del Lozoya Environmental Education Center presents a varied program of activities for June, featuring gatherings, hiking, and an art exhibition. These initiatives aim to promote the diverse artistic expressions and knowledge of the region's natural environment.
The 'Art and Nature' cycle begins on Saturday, June 20, with the 'Creativity' gathering. The following day, Sunday, June 21, the guided hike 'Puerto de Canencia' will take place as part of the 'Lobivencia' cycle.
Activities continue on the weekend of Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, with the 'Sierra Norte Fair,' focusing on ecotourism and held in LA CABRERA.
Concurrently, visitors can see the exhibition 'Woman Through Time: A Pictorial Journey,' part of the 'Artelocal' exhibition cycle. This show features works by local artists from the Sierra Norte of Madrid, with interpretations of female faces from different eras by students from Beatriz Rincón's painting classes in Pinilla del Valle.
The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursdays and Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For more information, the Valle del Lozoya Environmental Education Center can be reached by phone at 91 869 42 79, from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Saturdays, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM).
