Throughout 2025, the Teatro Bulevar in Torrelodones recorded significant public attendance, totaling 20,986 spectators. The program featured a variety of disciplines, including theater, dance, music, children's shows, as well as festivals dedicated to flamenco and early music.
Complementing the stage offerings, weekly lectures attracted approximately 1,500 attendees. For September, three talks were highlighted: 'Gabriela Mistral. Poet and fighter for freedom' on September 16th, 'Spanish Tercio Regiments, their cinematic reflection' on September 29th, and 'Spanish Baroque in the Prado. Francisco Ribalta and José Ribera'.
The Casa de la Cultura, meanwhile, welcomed nearly 50,000 visitors over the year. This venue not only hosted the Teatro Bulevar's performances but also provided exhibitions and classes offered by the municipal schools of Torrelodones.
In the realm of artistic education, the Antón García Abril Municipal School of Music and Dance saw an increase in enrollment for the 2025-2026 academic year, with 516 students in music, 124 in dance, and 42 in restoration and drawing.
Additionally, external workshops were offered in disciplines such as theater, dance, magic, yoga, and vocal technique, gathering around 90 participants. Detailed information on these programs is available on the municipality's official website.
The new season at the Teatro Bulevar will commence on Friday, September 11th, with the premiere of 'Lejano,' a performance blending flamenco singing and dancing. On September 17th, Nazareth Castellanos will deliver a lecture on stress neuroscience titled 'Understanding and managing its impact.' Subsequently, on September 18th, Paloma San Basilio will present her show 'Dulcinea'.
The schedule also includes other notable events such as the concert monologue '¡Ríe con libertad carajo!' by Los Meconios, and a solidarity concert titled 'Encuentro iberoamericano' to aid earthquake victims in Venezuela.
