Torrelodones Sports Center Exceeds 2,300 Students

The José Antonio Mur Municipal Sports Center and its swimming facility offer a wide range of activities for all ages, from children to those over 65.

The Torrelodones Municipal Sports Center José Antonio Mur concluded the past academic year with a total of 2,375 registered students in its various activities.

Nearly 900 of these students are minors participating in disciplines such as athletics, pre-futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, psychomotricity, sports initiation, and swimming.
Among the adult participants, approximately 800 women have enrolled in activities like crossfit, fit-body, adapted physical exercise, aerobic fitness, TRX, muscle toning, and pilates, totaling nearly 90 registrations.
The sports center also provides specific physical education classes for individuals over 65 years old.
These figures are complemented by sports practiced through local clubs, including rugby, badminton, futsal, football, volleyball, swimming, cycling, and martial arts, among others.
Classes run from September 16th until June 2027.
Meanwhile, the Swimming Center currently has just over a thousand students and offers seventeen activities for both adults and children, such as Acuatic Fitness, Aquagym, Ballenanos, benjamines, hydroriding, adult maintenance, matronación, and synchronized swimming.
Regarding sports facilities, Torrelodones boasts two sports fields (Antonio Martín and Julián Ariza), a swimming center, the José Luis Torres athletics track, frontenis, pádel, squash, and tennis courts, multi-purpose sports courts, a climbing wall, a fitness room, and saunas.
