Moralzarzal hosts the Patron Saint of the Civil Guard events for the first time

This Monday, October 12th, Moralzarzal will become the stage for a historic event as it hosts for the first time the commemorative ceremonies in honor of the Santísima Virgen del Pilar, Patron Saint of the Civil Guard.

The event, organized by the Civil Guard in collaboration with the City Council of Moralzarzal, is open to all residents. The Director General of the Civil Guard, represented by the Deputy Lieutenant of the San Lorenzo de El Escorial Company, the First Sergeant Post Commander, and the Members of the Civil Guard of Cerceda, invite the public to participate in this celebration.
The program for October 12th will begin at 11:00 AM with a Holy Mass at the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel. Subsequently, at 12:00 PM, the Plaza de la Constitución will host the military ceremony.
This ceremony will include the Flag Raising, the presentation of diplomas and recognitions, official speeches, a moving Tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain, and the performance of the Civil Guard Anthem.
At the conclusion of the institutional and military acts, a Spanish wine reception will be served in the same Plaza de la Constitución for all attendees, marking the end of this day of recognition and community.
