The initiative, aiming to showcase the best editorial novelties of 2025, will feature a selection of 220 works published between January and December of last year. Each book will include a descriptive card detailing its plot and notable characteristics.
The books will be categorized by age groups (for the youngest, from 6, 9, and 12 years old, and for youth) and by genre, reflecting the diversity of the current children's and youth literature scene. The selection was curated by a specialized team of librarians, educators, and children's literature experts, in collaboration with numerous publishers.
As a complementary activity, on Saturday, October 31, at 12:00 PM, the library will host the storytelling session Ven que te lo cuento… y te lo muestro (Come, I'll tell you... and I'll show you), aimed at families with children aged 4 and up. The session will be led by CuentaCris (Cristina Hidalgo de Calcerrada), a storyteller with experience since 2008.
The exhibition will be open until November 4, with the storytelling session on October 31 at 12:00 PM. Admission to both events is free until full capacity is reached.
