The Soto del Real City Council has launched a new asphalt operation with an investment of €492,470 to renew the pavement on 11 streets and other public spaces, improving traffic flow and road safety.

The works, which constitute the second most ambitious asphalt operation in the municipality's history, focus on improving the condition of the road network and urban infrastructure. This action reinforces the municipal commitment to the conservation of public spaces and the enhancement of daily-use streets.
The streets benefiting from this intervention are Sierra, Viñas, Álamos, Cristal, Plástico, Egidillo, Mármol, Cobre, Juan Pérez Zúñiga, and Juan Ramón Jiménez, in addition to a section of Avenida Víctimas del Terrorismo and the area around the Recycling Center.
This operation follows up on the investments made last summer on another 15 streets in the urban center and previous actions in developments such as Monte Real, Cierro Chico, La Solana, La Agustina, and Sierra Real, consolidating the plan for the progressive renewal of the municipal road network.
The Councilor for Urban Planning, Antonio Pontejo, highlighted the importance of maintaining investment efforts: “We continue to advance in the renovation of our streets with actions that have a direct impact on the daily lives of residents. This new operation allows us to act on different roads in the municipality and continue improving infrastructure that we all use daily”.
During the execution of the works, occasional disruptions, changes in traffic circulation, and temporary access limitations may occur. The City Council thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation.
