The Valdemorillo Town Council has confirmed the reactivation of 16 video surveillance cameras at strategic points in the municipality for traffic management and strengthening public safety.

The cameras, which had been inoperative for some time, are now back in service. This measure aims to provide more tools for security forces, including the Local Police and the Civil Guard, to optimize their work for the benefit of all residents' safety.

"With this, we want to provide more tools to the security forces and bodies, Local Police and Civil Guard, to reinforce their work for the benefit of everyone's safety."

The 16 video surveillance devices are located in various key areas with a dual purpose. On one hand, they seek to improve the subjective perception of security among residents, and on the other, to help Valdemorillo maintain its position as one of the safest municipalities in the Community of Madrid.
Additionally, it has been announced that five new officers will soon join the Local Police force, complementing the actions aimed at strengthening security in the town.
