The program includes a talk and discussion on Alzheimer's disease, organized by the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's and Other Dementia Patients in collaboration with the City Council. This session, scheduled for Thursday, April 23 at 6:00 PM at the Social Activities and Women's Center, will provide basic information about the disease and strategies for coping with initial changes.

The City Council, through its Department for Seniors, already implements weekly sessions of cognitive stimulation, music therapy, and adapted sports activities, benefiting over 100 participants. These initiatives are designed to suit the physical and psychoneurological capabilities of older adults.

On Friday, April 24, starting at 10:30 AM, a new edition of the Senior Gymnastics Meeting will take place, marking its 27th year. This event brings together participants from municipal courses and residents of senior centers to showcase their year-round efforts to stay fit. As a special addition, illusionist Íñigo Debod will perform a magic show, and other illusionists will visit residences for those unable to attend.

To conclude the week, the Senior MTB Ride will be held on Sunday, April 26. Starting at 10:30 AM from the Zaburdón Sports Center, the 25-kilometer round trip route will go along the Camino de las Siete Puertas to Los Arroyos, passing by the hermitage of Cerrillo de Galapagar and the GSD Los Arroyos school. The event is open to participants over 30 years old and requires prior registration on the Club Ciclista Escurialense website.
