This public hospital, part of the Madrilenian Health Service, is situated within the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park and specializes in intermediate care. For the 2025-2026 academic year, it will offer a total of 105 positions for training at various educational levels.
The training program includes undergraduate positions in Medicine (with a planned expansion from three to nine), Nursing (18 positions), Physiotherapy (nine), Psychology (one), and Nutrition (one), totaling 33 undergraduate students for the current academic year.
Additionally, Vocational Training will be provided with 66 positions: Clinical Documentation Technician (two), Auxiliary Nursing Care Technician (44), Radiology Technician (four), Pharmacy Technician (12), and Dietetics Technician (four).
Furthermore, the hospital hosts students for the Master's Degree in Palliative Care, with six teaching positions distributed among Nursing (four), Medicine (one), and Psychology (one).
The center has also submitted new agreement applications for the 2026-2027 academic year, covering undergraduate degrees in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, and Psychology. These educational initiatives are complemented by ongoing improvements to facilities and equipment.
La Fuenfría maintains a strong commitment to teaching, collaborating with universities such as Universidad Europea de Madrid, Camilo José Cela University, Francisco de Vitoria University, Pontifical Comillas University, and for the next academic year, with Alfonso X El Sabio University and San Pablo-CEU University, in coordination with the Regional Ministry of Health.
