Comprehensive renovation works on the M-615 road, connecting Moralzarzal with Mataelpino, have commenced to repair damage from the 2025 floods and ensure road safety.

The project, funded by the Regional Investment Program (PIR) with over 383,000 euros, includes a complete asphalt renewal to eliminate defects and ensure smoother driving. Road signage, both horizontal and vertical, will be improved, and new public lighting will be installed along a section that previously lacked it.
The execution period is estimated at two months, aiming to minimize disruption for regular road users. During the construction, the City Council urges drivers to exercise maximum caution and pay close attention to the temporary work signage.
To facilitate traffic flow during the works, temporary detours have been established via Santa Isabel and Peña streets.
