Guadarrama's cultural program for May begins with the arrival of the Titirimundi International Puppet Festival. The French company Bitonio will present its show Pequeñas fábulas (Little Fables), an act that immerses the audience in the world of children's stories, comics, and fantasy cinema through string puppets. This event will take place on Saturday, May 9 at 7:00 PM in the gardens of the Centro Cultural La Torre, with free admission and a duration of approximately 35 minutes.
Later, on Saturday, May 23, music will take center stage with the duo El mantel de Noa, composed of Miguel Ángel Fraile and Pilar Gonzalvo. They will perform a repertoire of world music, including themes of Sephardic, Andalusian, traditional Iberian, Aragonese origin, and from various European nations such as Armenia, Ireland, Italy, Bulgaria, or Ukraine, in addition to their own compositions. The concert will be held at 7:30 PM at the Centro Cultural La Torre, with an admission price of 9 euros, available in advance or at the box office.
Finally, on Saturday, May 30, the Spring Carnival, postponed in February due to bad weather, will be celebrated. The day will start from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with workshops and artistic activities from a traveling caravan, which will include the family magic show La magia de un trotamundos (The Magic of a Wanderer), by Carlos Navares, with several performances in the Plaza Mayor. In the afternoon, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, a maraca and face painting workshop will be offered. The day will culminate at 8:00 PM with a parade by Tukebatukes and the street performance Pasacalles veneciano (Venetian Parade) by Alquimia Circus, a circus-theater show with period costumes inspired by the Venetian Carnival.
