Guadarrama's Plaza Mayor will host the gastronomic fair “GastroSierra” next Saturday, September 5th, which this year adds a night market with live music.

The fair will bring together local and proximity producers to offer a wide variety of products characteristic of the region, such as wines, oils, cheeses, honeys, and pickles. This year's novelty is the incorporation of a night version that will feature musical performances by the group Carmax.
The event will open to the public at 11:00 AM and, in addition to shopping, attendees can enjoy tastings, food sampling, and children's activities. This initiative, organized by the Department of Local Development in collaboration with the Sierra del Guadarrama Reservation Center, aims to promote Kilometer 0 products.
The fair's objective is to support the local gastronomic richness, promote the sustainable development of the area's economy, and boost the National Park. The councilor for Local Development, Enrique Álvarez, highlighted the importance of these initiatives in recognizing the value of local producers and fostering a close economy.
The market will offer the opportunity to discover and taste agricultural products from the region through tastings, workshops, and events, aiming to bring the Madrid pantry to a wider audience, thereby strengthening local identity and economy while promoting sustainability and employment in the area.
