The San Bernabé 2026 Festivities in El Escorial will take place from June 5th to 14th, offering a program that blends traditional events with new cultural and leisure proposals, including a rap festival and a drone show.

The El Escorial City Council has unveiled the program for the San Bernabé 2026 Festivities, scheduled from June 5th to 14th. The celebration aims to provide activities for all ages, merging traditional events with new cultural and leisure proposals. Highlights include a rap festival, performances by groups like La Huella and La Guardia, and a closing event with a drone show, a first for the area.
The festivities commence on Friday, June 5th, with the inauguration of the fairground and the opening speech by José Antonio Caballero Hernández. The focus on urban music is evident in the “El Escorial Rap Fest”, featuring artists such as Midas Alonso, Nasta, Rain, Doshermanos, and Bolo Escorial. The grand finale on Sunday, June 14th, will be an innovative drone show replacing the traditional fireworks, promising a spectacular visual display.
The musical lineup also includes the Orquesta La Huella on Saturday, June 13th, the Orquesta Diamante on Friday, June 5th, and La Guardia on Friday, June 12th, followed by an 80s mobile disco. Additionally, there will be performances by the Guerreras K-Pop on Sunday, June 7th, a tribute to Raphael on Tuesday, June 9th, and local groups like Marmaol.
In terms of culture and comedy, comedian Agustín Jiménez is scheduled to perform on Wednesday, June 10th. Furthermore, the Carroza del Teatro Real (Float of the Royal Theatre) will be present on June 9th, bringing opera and classical music to the municipality. Tradition is upheld with the Grand Bullfighting Festival with Picadores on June 11th at the La Manguilla Bullring, and the mass and procession in honor of San Bernabé.
The festivities will also highlight a social cause: support for Claudia, a 2-year-old girl with an ultra-rare disease. Her parents, Ignacio and Elena, have established the Association for the Research and Treatment of Peroxisomal Diseases. The City Council encourages citizens to learn more and contribute.
