The municipality of El Escorial is preparing to host the Burger Fest this weekend, an event combining a burger contest from different autonomous communities with concerts and children's activities.

This weekend, El Escorial will become a gastronomic hub with the celebration of the Burger Fest. The event, taking place at Parque Lorenzo Fernández Panadero and its surroundings, will offer residents and visitors the chance to taste and vote for the best burgers from various regions of Spain.
Participants from locations such as Jaén, Burgos, Segovia, and the Community of Madrid itself will present their creations at the food trucks set up during the June 27th and 28th. Attendees can sample these culinary offerings and choose their favorite.
Beyond gastronomy, the festival will feature a comprehensive entertainment program for the whole family. Musical performances by groups such as Cerrado por Vacaciones, Big Band Meridiano Cultural, Los Tejones, and Cactus Rail Road Company are scheduled. Additionally, there will be a children's play area, a photo booth, a sports car exhibition, a DJ, and a mechanical bull, aiming to provide a complete experience.

"The official inauguration, which will mark the starting signal, will be on Saturday, June 27th at 1:00 PM, with the participation of the town's mayor, Antonio Vicente, and members of the Corporation."

The event is organized by the Commission of Young Men, Married Men, and Widows with the collaboration of the El Escorial City Council.
