The Feminist Commission of the «Chozas de la Sierra» Association has announced the resumption of its conference series on women's history, focusing on the ancient world and the female figure.

This series aims to establish a dialogue with the past to analyze the treatment of women throughout history, highlighting falsehoods and oversights that still persist in contemporary society.
The first conference, titled «What do we know about Iberian women? A new look from archaeology», will feature Lourdes Prado Torreira, Professor of Archaeology at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
The event will take place next Friday, April 24, at 6:30 PM, in the auditorium of the cultural center in Soto del Real.
