The Complutense University of Madrid has announced the 39th edition of its Summer Courses, scheduled to take place in San Lorenzo de El Escorial from June 29 to July 24, with Denmark as the invited country.

The presentation of this year's edition was attended by the university's rector, the vice-rector for Communication and director of the Summer Courses, the Danish ambassador to Spain, and the artist known as dEmo Artist, who designed the poster. The program covers diverse areas of knowledge and focuses on relevant contemporary social issues.
This year, the educational offering includes over 100 proposals, encompassing courses, workshops, and cultural activities. The classrooms will not be limited to San Lorenzo de El Escorial but will also extend to other locations, both national and international, with programs planned in Boston and Brussels.
Extraordinary activities will primarily focus on performing arts, highlighting theater and live music. Additionally, film screenings and various initiatives related to Danish culture will be presented, mainly taking place in San Lorenzo.

"As is tradition, thanks to the collaboration between the City Council and the Complutense, 175 scholarships will be offered to residents registered in San Lorenzo de El Escorial."
