Infrastructure improvement works across the Madrid Region rail network will cause service disruptions, including the temporary suspension of the route between Cercedilla and Los Molinos.

The closure of the C-8b line, starting this Saturday, will remain in effect until September 5. This intervention is designed to facilitate the renewal of catenary poles at Cercedilla station, a necessary step to modernize the regional rail network.
To minimize the impact on passenger mobility, Renfe has implemented a special bus service covering the affected route. This service will operate 38 trips on weekdays and 36 on weekends.
In addition to this disruption, the Cercanías Madrid network continues to experience other scheduled changes due to ongoing works at Chamartín station and the Recoletos tunnel. These projects, primarily carried out during night hours, aim to improve the reliability and efficiency of the rail service.
The rail operator advises passengers to check official channels, including station announcements, signage, and their WhatsApp channel, for updated information on schedules and available transport alternatives during the construction period.
