The Mancomunidad La Maliciosa Social Services Association has scheduled a family botanical cyanotype workshop for Saturday, June 20, in Guadarrama, offering an opportunity to explore local flora through photographic techniques.

The activity, which will take place starting at 6:00 PM in the Guadarrama Municipal Park, located on Alfonso Senra street, aims to introduce families to the area's botanical richness.
The day will begin with a guided collection route through the Municipal Park, where participants will learn about and select the plant material they will later use in the workshop.
Botanical cyanotype is a photographic technique that uses sun exposure and chemical processes to create distinctive blue-toned prints. This method is particularly valued for botanical illustrations due to its ability to faithfully reproduce the nature and beauty of plants.
Participation in the workshop is free, although places are limited and require advance registration. Interested individuals can register by sending an email to [[email protected]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#01686674606d656065416c606f626e6c746f686560652c6d606c606d6862686e72602f6e7366) or by calling 638 103 289. The activity will be led by Fábrica de Texturas.
This initiative is co-financed by the participating municipalities, the ESF+ (by 40%), and the Community of Madrid, within the framework of the operational program ESF+ 2021-2027 and the Program for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities between Women and Men.
