The Becerril de la Sierra Town Council is organizing its traditional May Cross Pilgrimage this Friday, May 1st, a day that blends religious devotion with local folklore and community gathering.

The official events will commence at 12:00 PM with a Holy Mass at the Church of San Andrés. Following the ceremony, a procession will begin, during which the Cross will be carried to the Raso de los Enebros, weather permitting. The Becerril de la Sierra Folk Group will accompany the procession with their performances.
The Town Council has issued a special invitation to horse riders and their horses to join the procession, thereby enriching the event's tradition.
Once at the Raso de los Enebros, two gymkhana sessions are scheduled, also subject to weather conditions. The first will take place at 12:30 PM and the second at 5:00 PM. Participation in these activities requires prior registration at the Town Hall Registry, as spaces are limited.
To facilitate access and avoid parking issues, a free circular shuttle bus service will be available. This bus will depart from Calzada Street during two time slots: from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the morning and from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the afternoon.
