Young people aged 12 and 13 will be able to obtain the same discounts as other Carné Joven users in various sectors. Among the highlighted benefits are discounts on leisure and free time (such as Cinesa or Kinepolis), amusement parks (Parque de Atracciones de Madrid, Zoo de Madrid, Parque Warner, Port Aventura), and restaurants (Llaollao, Domino’s Pizza, Muerde la Pasta).
Furthermore, discounts extend to sports and cultural activities, the summer swimming pool campaign, and youth hostels, as well as theater and musicals (such as The Lion King or Wicked). Reductions are also included for shopping (bookstores, comic shops), services (dentistry and optometry), and training (languages, dance, theater), among many other benefits.
The basic requirements to apply for the Carné Joven are to be 12 years old at the time of application and to officially reside within the Community of Madrid, for which a responsible declaration must be marked. Necessary documentation includes the official form completed and signed by the minor's legal guardians, the minor's identification (original DNI, passport, or residence card), and, for those under 14, proof of legal guardianship.
Applications can be submitted in person at the Alpedrete Youth Center, where the card is issued on the spot if the required documentation signed by both parents is presented. Alternatively, it can be applied for online through the Digital Account of the Community of Madrid, using the tutor's electronic identification. Due to the high volume of applications, the issuance of the digital Carné Joven may be delayed by a few days.
