El Forestal, a forest of over 20 hectares declared "Royal Forest" in 1739, has become an extraordinary arboretum thanks to the School of Montes Engineers. This privileged space, located next to the Arroyo de la Madre, now offers a new attraction for enjoyment.
The initiative, promoted by the Department of Environment, allows visitors to scan QR codes at interpretive stops to listen via audio guides to the history and characteristics of the most unique species. The councilor Ernesto Serigós presented the project alongside the mayor, highlighting the fundamental participation of Alejandro Arroyo Domostegui, responsible for the forest's maintenance.
During the opening day, the experience was complemented by the presence of Fairies and Gnomes, inviting attendees to enjoy this new resource.
