This Saturday, September 26, the Torrelodones Tourism Department invites you to a new guided tour that will explore the urban center and culminate at the iconic Torre de los Lodones.

The activity, part of the Family Tourism initiative, aims to showcase the municipality's historical and natural heritage. Those interested in participating must pre-register via WhatsApp at 652 638 664, available Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 19:00.
The tour will begin at 10:30 AM at the Tourism Office, located on Calle Real. From there, it will review the historical evolution of the town's original layout and its importance as a main communication route through the centuries. The narrative will cover key moments in Torrelodones' history, including visits from King Felipe II and the town's transformation into a gastronomic destination with its first inns.
The day will conclude with a walk up the Cerro de Las Marías to enjoy panoramic views. The route will end at La Atalaya, the municipality's emblem, where the tower's interior will be visited to explain its history, defensive function, and significance in the local historical landscape. This proposal combines history, nature, and culture, highlighting the heritage and identity of Torrelodones.
