The ordinary session of the Plenary of the Torrelodones City Council, convened for September 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM, will include in its agenda the approval of the 2026 revision of the local Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fire emergencies (PAMIF). This plan aims to enhance safety against fires within the municipal area.
Another key point in the first part will be the signing of a Collaboration Agreement between the Torrelodones City Council and that of Hoyo de Manzanares. This agreement aims for the joint provision of Local Police services, optimizing resources and coordination between both municipalities.
The second part of the session will be marked by several motions. The Partido Popular Municipal Group will present a defense of the Spanish sovereignty of Ceuta and Melilla, demanding extraordinary measures from the government. For its part, the Socialist Municipal Group will present a motion on the conservation of the Los Peñascales dam and the protection of its surrounding natural environment. The Vox Municipal Group will also present a motion to reaffirm Spanish sovereignty.
Furthermore, various Mayoral Resolutions will be reported concerning the modification of delegated powers to several officials, including Alba Cristina Grueso Sánchez, Felipe Pinto Rodríguez, Oscar Fernández Hernández, Lorena Fernández Martínez, and Sonsoles Palacios Moreno. Information will also be provided on the composition and powers of the Local Government Board and the appointment of Lorena Fernández Martínez as 4th Deputy Mayor. Finally, resolutions issued by the Mayor's Office, delegated councilors, and the Treasury will be reported.
