Next Saturday, September 19th, the "Senda camino de la Isabela, Panarras y Cerro Gurugú" will take place, a guided tour that is free and accessible to all audiences. This activity combines nature, history, and healthy leisure, featuring an approximate 6.5-kilometer route of low difficulty, ideal for families.
The departure is scheduled for 10:30 AM from the Tourist Office. The itinerary will cover historical points in the urban area, such as Calle Real and Avenida de Valladolid, before heading towards Monte del Gasco via Camino Pardillo, passing Casa Panarras, and concluding at Cerro Gurugú.
During the tour, the history of the Casa Panarrás, the hill, Manuel García Prieto, and the Gasco dam will be explained. Participants will also enjoy a panoramic view of Madrid and its surroundings.
Participants are recommended to wear appropriate hiking footwear and clothing, and to carry sufficient water for the route.
