The Galapagar City Council has announced the hiring of 32 unemployed residents for an eight-month period, thanks to a grant from the Community of Madrid aimed at strengthening local services.

This initiative, managed through the Employment Department, seeks to reinforce various municipal areas. The selection process will soon begin to fill positions such as maintenance and gardening officers, administrative assistants, a tourism technician, and library assistants.
The contracts will be full-time and are part of the Community of Madrid's Professional Activation Program. This program's main objective is to improve the employability of unemployed individuals by providing them with relevant work experience.
Most of the positions require a Vocational Training qualification or a professional certificate. For the tourism technician and library assistants, specific training related to the role will be required.
Candidate pre-selection will be carried out through the Community of Madrid Employment Office, located in Collado Villalba. This office will be responsible for sending eligible applicants to the city council. It is essential for interested parties to be registered as unemployed job seekers to be considered for these contracts.
