The September cultural agenda at the Ricardo León Municipal Library in Galapagar kicks off on September 3rd with a cinema session at 6:00 PM. Organized by the Senior Citizens Association “La Posada,” the film tells the story of a group of women and their solidarity initiative. The event, with free admission, is aimed at adult audiences.
The following week, the library will host two literary presentations. On September 9th, at 7:00 PM, the novel “Sombras en la reforma” by Jesús Moya Ruiz, a local talent whose work addresses themes such as overcoming adversity and solidarity, will be presented. Admission is free until full capacity.
The next day, on September 10th, at 6:00 PM, the activity “Bibliotecarios por un día” (Librarians for a Day) will take place. Participants, aged 6 and over, will have the opportunity to learn about the library's internal operations. This activity has limited capacity and requires prior registration at [biblioteca@galapagar.es](mailto:biblioteca@galapagar.es).
The program will conclude on September 11th with two events scheduled for 6:00 PM. Firstly, the storytelling session “[Cuentos con caparazón]” (Stories with Shells) is aimed at children over 5 years old and is designed for family enjoyment. It requires prior registration at [biblioteca@galapagar.es](mailto:biblioteca@galapagar.es).
On the same day, the novel [La guardiana de la rosa] by Nieves Corte will also be presented. Set in 15th-century Paris, the work revives the figure of Christine de Pizan, considered a pioneer of professional writing. The presentation, for adult audiences, will have free admission until full capacity.
