The Galapagar City Council has announced the new edition of its 2026 Urban Summer Camps, an initiative designed to support family reconciliation and provide educational leisure for children and young people in the municipality during the summer months.

These camps, which will run from late June to August, will feature a diverse program including sports activities such as hockey, rollerblading, football, and tennis, as well as games, group dynamics, and outdoor proposals. Cultural and artistic activities will also be included to enrich the participants' experience.
The camp offerings are varied, with programs organized by entities such as C.D.E. Pumas del Norte, Guerreros, Campaventura, Ars Vivendi, and C.D. Ancora Galapagar. Each of these programs is tailored to different ages and interests, ensuring options for everyone.
Furthermore, this year's edition incorporates an inclusive approach through the Adapted Sports project. This initiative, promoted by the Department of Inclusion and Disability in collaboration with the Madrid Federation of Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities, is aimed at minors aged between 5 and 18 with intellectual disabilities, fostering their participation in sports activities in an accessible and inclusive environment.
