The Environmental Department of the Collado Villalba City Council has organized a series of free activities for the month of May, aimed at promoting awareness about caring for the natural environment.

These initiatives, designed for all audiences, seek to highlight the importance of protecting nature and the environment, as well as valuing the natural resources present in the region.
Among the proposals is an Advanced Organic Garden Course, which will be held on May 5 and 6, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the El Coto de las Suertes Environmental Education Classroom. This course is aimed at adults and will cover topics such as seedbeds, composting, and maintenance tasks, including two hours of practical work in the garden.
Another scheduled activity is “Discovering Amphibians”, which will take place on May 13, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This interpretive route will be held in the Dehesa Boyal de Alpedrete, covering a distance of 1.8 kilometers through the quarries and dehesa, and is also intended for adults.
All activities are free of charge, but require prior registration through the official municipal website of Collado Villalba.
