Following the success of previous editions, Collado Villalba is once again celebrating ‘La Noche en Vela’ in the Plaza de Los Belgas. The initiative, organized by the Local Development area, will extend throughout the weekend, offering a varied program that includes musical performances, tapas and pintxo tasting, street entertainment, and the traditional Rastro de la Sierra (Sierra Flea Market).
The Rastro de la Sierra, with special editions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will allow attendees to purchase items of craftsmanship, collectibles, clothing, and antiques. The highlight of the event will be on Saturday at sunset, when the square will be illuminated by hundreds of candles and torches, creating a magical atmosphere between 7:00 PM and 1:00 AM.
Visitors can enjoy pop-rock concerts and participate in the ‘Mahou en Ruta’ initiative, sponsored by Cervezas Mahou, which will offer ten pintxos prepared by local restaurants. Live musical performances are scheduled for Friday the 19th starting at 8:00 PM, Saturday the 20th at 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and Sunday the 21st starting at 2:00 PM.
The open-air market will feature over 100 stalls offering handmade artisan products. Additionally, attendees can participate in the traditional Caldero de Los Deseos (Cauldron of Wishes) to leave behind the year's troubles.
The schedule for activities will be: Friday, June 19th, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM; Saturday, June 20th, from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM; and Sunday, June 21st, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
