The Tres Cantos City Council has intensified its commitment to social welfare, carrying out over 1,400 interventions in 2025 to support families, seniors, and vulnerable individuals, ranging from psychological assistance to financial aid for nurseries and school canteens.

Childcare has been a priority, benefiting nearly 2,300 people. Almost 79,000 euros have been distributed in aid for school canteens and early childhood education centers, guaranteeing places and meals for 188 children in the municipality. These measures aim to promote equal opportunities and the comprehensive development of minors.

"These measures contribute not only to promoting equal opportunities but also to supporting the comprehensive development of minors in key stages."

For seniors living alone, the municipality has implemented telecare services, with nearly 500 people using the help button, and 239 receiving home assistance. In total, over 22,000 hours have been dedicated to this service, allowing seniors to remain in their homes with security and care.

"Close, effective, and focused on prevention and comprehensive care for all people."

In the face of serious economic unforeseen events, social emergency aid has been crucial. Last year, 157 such aids were approved, benefiting over 300 residents of Tres Cantos with an investment of 64,590 euros, aimed at covering basic needs and essential supplies.
Emotional well-being has also gained significant importance. The San Camilo Listening Center provided psychological support to over 310 people. Additionally, the MITIGA project, in collaboration with La Paz Hospital, works on preventing cognitive decline, and suicide prevention workshops have been held with the participation of 300 people.

"To respond to increasingly complex personal situations."
