The Marina Park in San Sebastián de los Reyes will be the venue on October 24th for the inaugural Firefighter Challenge, a competition designed to test participants' physical endurance.

The City Council, in collaboration with the Sports Association of Firefighters of the Community of Madrid and the Sports Association of Firefighters of the Madrid City Council, is organizing this event, which will kick off at 9:00 AM.
Participants must complete a course of nine chained trials wearing full intervention gear and self-contained breathing apparatus, within a maximum time of four minutes and 30 seconds. The competition will be held in pairs and in parallel.
The challenge will include separate categories for professional firefighters, divided by age and sex, as well as a popular sports category open to individuals over 18 years old. Additionally, non-competitive categories for youth and children will be available.
Registration, costing 13 euros, will be open until October 20th or until the 200 available spots are filled.
