The Neighbor Assistance service of the Tres Cantos Town Hall, available via WhatsApp since 2019, has registered over 160,000 interactions, consolidating itself as a key communication tool.

The WhatsApp chat of the Tres Cantos Town Hall, launched in 2019, has surpassed 160,000 interactions, managing 72,000 conversations and reaching nearly 16,000 users. This initiative has established itself as one of the main direct communication tools between citizens and the local administration.
Through this municipal service, residents can make inquiries, report incidents, and access information of interest in real-time. The first deputy mayor and councilor for the Presidency, Javier Juárez, noted that this facilitates an attention that is "not only more agile but also more direct".
Juárez stated that this tool complements the "simple, useful, and accessible" proposals deployed by the City Council to address needs and maintain an "increasingly close and effective" communication with residents.
Among the available functionalities are the 'Neighbor's Mailbox' and the 'Mayor's Mailbox'. The project also aims to facilitate access to municipal news, home pickup of belongings, and services related to Women and Equality and Employment, covering a total of 12 information areas.
The Town Hall emphasizes the service's accessibility, designed to provide information through an application widely adopted across different age groups without the need to download additional tools or possess specific technological knowledge, leveraging the widespread use of WhatsApp.
To access, users simply need to have the WhatsApp application downloaded, add the number 644594493, and send a message with the word "Hola" to start using all the chat's functionalities.
