In the aerospace sector, Tres Cantos concentrates approximately 70% of the activity in the Community of Madrid. International companies such as Airbus, GMV, Thales Alenia Space, and Sener operate here, covering everything from engineering to the manufacturing and testing of space systems.
The city boasts infrastructures dedicated to research and development, including the Madrid Technology Park, the Madrid Science Park, and the Madrid Science & Innovation District.
