The Tres Cantos City Council has made available to Secondary, Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training students the educational guidance guide for the 2026-2027 academic year, a document designed to support them in their academic and professional decisions.

This resource, already distributed in the municipality's high schools, offers updated information on the educational system and the various training options available. Special attention is given to academic pathways and the requirements for accessing higher education, ensuring that students and teachers have a useful tool at a crucial time of the school year.
The guide is designed as a consultation manual for students, families, and counselors. It includes detailed content on different educational paths, from compulsory education to post-compulsory alternatives, and provides practical resources for planning young people's academic future.
In addition to the guide's distribution, specific workshops were held for 4th-year ESO students during February and March. These sessions focused on explaining the educational system and guiding students in choosing their pathways, thus supporting them in this important decision-making process.

"During 2025, this service recorded over 430 personalized consultations and organized workshops attended by more than 500 young people, reflecting the existing demand for academic guidance in the municipality."

The City Council also offers continuous advisory services through the Vértice Youth Center, where the Study Advisory Service provides individualized attention. The educational guidance guide is available for online consultation on the municipal website, and the Study Advisory Service attends by appointment in the morning and afternoon to resolve specific doubts about training pathways and academic options.
