This decision responds to the considerable demand from families in Tres Cantos for the new educational initiative promoted by the City Council. Classes are set to commence in October and will cater to students aged between 3 and 16 years old.
The educational center, located in the 21 de Marzo building, will provide training in English and other languages, the selection of which will depend on registered demand. The pre-registration period closes this Friday, September 4th, at 3:00 PM. During this process, interested individuals can take a level test.
It is important to note that pre-registration does not automatically guarantee a place. Final admission will be formalized after completing the subsequent enrollment phase. Provisional lists of admitted students will be published on September 14th, with the enrollment period running for two days starting September 16th.
To address all queries and explain the school's operation, an informational meeting for families has been scheduled for September 16th at 6:30 PM in the Theater of the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center.
Any vacancies resulting from withdrawals or failure to meet requirements will be assigned in order to candidates on the waiting list, who will have 48 hours to confirm their acceptance.
Training will be organized into small groups, with a maximum of 10 to 15 students per class, considering language level, pre-registration order, and schedule compatibility. For English, students will be prepared for Cambridge English certifications. 16-year-old students will be able to continue their studies at the Official School of Languages offered by the IES Pintor Antonio López.
The City Council has set a subsidized fee of 25 euros per month for this training. Furthermore, the center's launch will create employment opportunities for local teachers and other professionals who meet the necessary requirements, and they will receive specific training in the school's methodology.
